Performance Development Programme (Appraisal Skills)
Performance development programmes (PDP’s) are a key process in the nurturing and development of your team, developing individuals who have both the desire and competencies to perform, and for facilitating high levels of talent retention/progression.
The use of behavioural
interviewing techniques and effective questioning supports open, and
effective communication ensuring clarity around performance reviews and
the setting of SMART, objectives and development goals.
Key features of the Performance Development Programmes (PDP) are:
- 1 or 2 day programme
- maximum 12 delegates
Target audience: Managers with responsibility for managing performance reviews and objective setting
Purpose: To develop skills to hold effective PDP conversations with team members / direct reports, ensuring clarity around performance reviews and future expectations.
