In mid September, Quest was delighted to work with Mott MacDonald once again for their annual MAN Challenge.
This was the seventh consecutive year that Quest had delivered the team building event, and once again a day and a half of unusual, developmental and fun tasks were lined up.
The Quest Quiz
This year the MAN Challengers stayed at The Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, and upon arrival on the Friday evening enjoyed drinks and a barbecue in the gardens of the college before taking part in what has become something of a tradition, the Quest Quiz.
Duck Herding & Musketry
Saturday morning saw the MAN Challengers divided into sub-teams and competing against one another in a whole range of activities.
Team building skills were tested to the limit as amongst other things they used sheep dogs to herd ducks around an obstacle course and fired weapons that dated back to the time of The Duke of Wellington and the Battle of Waterloo.
The Spirit of the Challenge Award
Following a light lunch, the sub-teams were changed again, and they were transferred to a new location to practice their driving skills to the limit.
The teams battled it out in the heat of a beautiful September afternoon until winners were crowned, and the day was brought to a close.
The traditional team dinner followed in the evening at the end of which a number of prizes and awards were made, and a new winner of The Spirit of the Challenge was announced.
