Creating the Feel Good Factor

Over many years Quest has developed the expertise to deliver big events for large groups of people, which create the feel good factor and support employee engagement.

Our large scale events have multiple benefits; from networking and charitable fund raising to meeting your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aims and encouraging particpant health and well-being.

Events that Support Employee Engagement

Employee engagement is a concept that has become an increasingly mainstream element of management thought over the last decade. It is generally seen as an internal state of being – physical, mental and emotional – that brings together earlier concepts of work effort, organisational commitment, job satisfaction and ‘flow’ (or optimal experience). Typical phrases used in writing on employee engagement include discretionary effort, going the extra mile, feeling valued and passion for work.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has defined employee engagement as “being positively present during the performance of work by willingly contributing intellectual effort, experiencing positive emotions and meaningful connections to one other”.

This definition gives three dimensions to employee engagement:

  • Intellectual engagement – thinking hard about the job and how to do it better
  • Effective engagement – feeling positively about doing a good job
  • Social engagement – actively taking opportunities to discuss work-related improvements with others at work.

It is in that third area, social engagement, that Quest events can add real value. Over many years we have developed the expertise to deliver large scale events which enable the bringing together of large numbers of employees from numerous geographical locations (domestic and international) to events in the UK and overseas.

Many of our large scale events have multiple benefits. For example they can provide an effective and efficient vehicle for charitable fund raising, thereby supporting clients in achieving one element of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) target; and they can also be used to encourage the participants to improve their health and general well-being.

In addition, large scale events provide an excellent opportunity for employee networking. They encourage both the organisation and the employees to celebrate success which creates a positive energy and generates a feeling of pride, identity and belonging.

What our clients have said about Quest large scale events:

“It is an outstanding event supporting both charity and colleague engagement”

“It has become a yearly tradition and it offers a time for me to get to know many colleagues.  As well as being a way to keep fit (training and participating in the walk) it is a very "easy" way to raise money and awareness for the charity of the year. It boosts staff morale and is an excellent way for teams to bond.”

“Without a doubt I and my team would definitely sign up again for this event next year. The whole event gives you such a buzz; as soon as the event opens it is the talk of the offices. Everyone looks forward to it. The morale boost is just priceless. Please organise again for next year.”
