Bespoke Team Building Events

Individual Team Building Events Tailored To Your Requirements

All the team building and development that Quest delivers is bespoke to the client’s requirements. For larger events and programmes Quest will work hand in hand with your event team to deliver tailoring down to the absolute last detail. We operate an entirely mobile service which enables us to deliver our events and programmes all over the world, and have worked in locations in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, The USA and Croatia.

Too big or too small are words that are not recognised by Quest and we devote the same focus and attention whether your team has five members or five hundred, in fact we’re currently working hard on a forthcoming event at Celtic Manor Resort for over 600. Since 1995 we have designed and delivered events in a Nuclear Bunker; the Globe Theatre; Pinewood Film Studios; a Tall Ship; London Zoo; Twickenham Rugby and The Emirates Football Stadia and Broadlands, the ancestral home of Lord Louis Mountbatten. Challenge us with your quirky idea for a venue, nothing surprises Quest!

Case Studies

That all sounds great, but the best way to put those words to the test is to look at some examples of some of those events:

Bayer Medical Events

LIFE Values: Leadership, Integrity, Flexibility, Efficiency

These events have taken many formats: everything from international treasure hunts that reflect the cross-cultural nature of the team; the creation of Christmas decorations and a team calendar to sell for charity; model rocket launches and giant logo formations. And all of these variations had to reinforce the key LIFE values and promote Science for a Better Life.

How did they go? Quite simply all of these events have exceeded the client expectations and delivered in every aspect.

Shell Retail Licence to Build

Shell Retail contacted Quest to deliver an event at Pinewood Film Studios to mark the three day conference for a specific filling station re-launch. They wanted: a half day team build that took teams on a journey from competing against one another to all collaborating as one team of over one hundred people; the team build to reflect the Pinewood Studios location with a specific focus on Pinewoods most famous creation, James Bond; event artwork and a specific logo that would be used throughout all elements of the conference including gifts for all attendees; a motivational speaker; a branded grand finale to the team build, oh and a gala dinner. Quite a list! Were Quest shaken? Certainly not. Stirred into action? We certainly were

The final delivery could not have been more slick if it had been delivered by James Bond himself. The artwork was stunning and included an ingenious conversion of a pistol into a petrol pump; the motivational speaker rallied the team; the team build saw the creation of a two metre high giant cubed pyramid sporting images of Shell fuel stations covering their 104 year history and the grand finale which saw the launch of a Shell branded one point five metre model rocket would have made NASA proud. What an event!

Lloyds TSB Consumer Banking Conference, London

'The 4 right’s: Get the right offer… to the right customer… at the right time… and in the right way'

This event was based at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters in the City of London and involved 360 staff from the Lloyds TSB Consumer Banking Division.

We were given a very precise time slot of 75 minutes and the brief was to provide an event which would fully engage all 360 delegates. It had to be high energy, fun, memorable, competitive. Just as importantly it had to support the corporate message – "The 4 Rights" and test the delegate’s product knowledge. The exercise also had to have the flexibility of being delivered indoors or outdoors depending on the weather!

Did we deliver? Of course we did

The event was a great success and we have had amazing feedback…

"Look forward to working with you again…"  Alice - Communications Manager

"Just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday – the feedback on the day has been very positive. Thank you again."  Marie - Internal Communications Manager

E.ON Two into One Programme

'Switching E.ON to our future through the power of teamwork'

E.ON were commissioning the building of a new power station on their Isle of Grain site. The new station was due to come on stream in 2009 and would be Europe’s most efficient power station. The team of 60 that were to be responsible for the operation of that new power station, were to be drawn from two existing power stations which were due to be decommissioned.

This investment was a key component of the long term energy strategy for the UK and as part of the project Quest were asked to deliver an eight month programme to oversee the merging of the two teams.

The staffing of the new plant inevitably involved some job losses but also the recruitment of new staff with specialist skills. A whole range of other complex issues required Quest to take a very sensitive and flexible approach to the programme.

All parts of the eight month programme except for the final event were all delivered at an E.ON power station in Kent, and individual teams spent full days with the Quest facilitators taking part in a wide range of workshop and experiential sessions.

The final event involved all the team for two full days and saw them amongst many activities: playing a giant game of Monopoly around the centre of London; kayaking on a nearby reservoir; solving some highly involved team construction challenges; tackling a high ropes course and finally building a giant jigsaw featuring images of the brand new team which was subsequently mounted in the reception area at the new power station.

Detailed, sensitive and a lengthy programme that delivered all required elements and more from the first workshop to the final event eight months later.
