Team Apprentice Challenge providing Business Coaching

Quest offer a portfolio of innovative interventions that deliver business driven experiences. The process is relevant to delegate’s work and importantly provides tangible transferable skills. Key to this process are experiential and applied exercises where the delegates deal with real budgets and commodities, as opposed to the commonly used and somewhat contrived management games and role plays.

The programmes are delivered in a safe environment removed from the day to day operation of the business but involve real life situations. These exercises provide a broad range of business challenges such as delivering a profit, meeting client’s expectations, negotiating with suppliers, achieving service standards, meeting project deadlines and much more.

The exercises are concepts which we adapt to match the client’s specific objectives ensuring we provide a bespoke and highly relevant programme. The programmes are delivered over a two to four day period depending upon their complexity.

All the programmes are delivered by our team of highly qualified coaches and the practical learning can be supported by psychometric testing such as Myers Briggs, Insights, and Belbin. When working with junior levels of management we can also incorporate a First Level Leadership certification as part of the process.

The entire programme is carefully facilitated and observed. We actively encourage client representatives to be part of the facilitation and observation process. Where it is appropriate video analysis is also utilised to support the learning outcomes.

All profits made from the delivery of this programme are donated to the clients chosen charity.

The Negotiator

Another opportunity for teams to work on authentic challenges, and out-perform teams on the well-known TV show. Using a list of very specific and obscure items, teams must first locate and source, before negotiating the very best purchase price. This is a competitive exercise providing teams with an outstanding opportunity to practice effective negotiation, planning and presentation techniques plus many other business skills.

 

Team Apprentice Selling

Is another team activity delivering real business experiences. It can take a number of formats, but all require the delegates to work with real cash budgets and commodities.

One format includes running a market stall on one of London’s famous markets such as the Portobello Road. Teams will source and negotiate the purchase of their stock before selling it from their stalls. The key objective is to make a profit which can then be donated to charity.
